Qatar GP 2026 at Lusail: Dates, Sprint Weekend and What to Wear

Quick answer: the 2026 Qatar Grand Prix takes place at the Lusail International Circuit from 27 to 29 November 2026. It is a sprint weekend, so Friday already has a race, and the Grand Prix runs on Sunday evening under the lights. It is the second last round of the season, one week before the finale in Abu Dhabi.

About the Lusail International Circuit

Lusail sits about 20 km north of central Doha. It was built for MotoGP, joined Formula 1 in 2021 and became a regular stop from 2023. The 5.4 km lap is fast and flowing, with long medium and high speed corners that are hard on tyres and on the drivers' necks. Tickets and the fan zone

Grandstands: Main, North and T16 grandstands are sold as 3 day tickets. Main Grandstand seats are assigned.
General admission: Lusail Hill at Turn 1 gives an elevated view and is available as a 3 day or Friday only ticket.
Included with tickets: the F1 Fan Village, the food court, the post race concert and free parking.
Kids: children aged 2 and under enter free without a seat.

What to wear to the Qatar GP

Late November in Doha is warm during the day and pleasant at night, so think light layers rather than heavy jackets.

A breathable team polo or tee for the afternoon, such as the 2026 McLaren Team Polo or the 2026 Ferrari Team Polo.
A cap for the sun before the race starts. Browse caps from all teams.
